The Duchess of Cambridge was in Leicester on November 27, 2018, with her husband Prince William to pay tribute to the victims of the October 2017 helicopter crash.

During a visit to Leicester University, Duchess Kate had a unique conversation with a fan who posted the clip on Instagram/2cool_4school_2lame_4fame.

"It's such a special time to have little kiddies. And a cousin for George and Charlotte, as well, and Louis. It'll be really special."

DUCHESS KATE COMMENTS ON MEGHAN'S BABY FOR THE FIRST TIME

The Duchess was asked by a member of the public about her children's welfare, to which she replied that they were well and excited about Christmas.

The same person then asked the Duchess if she was excited about the arrival of Harry and Meghan's baby, soliciting her first public response to the pregnancy.

"IT'LL BE REALLY SPECIAL"

Duchess Kate smiled and replied that she feels it is a "special time," and will be particularly so for her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis who will have a baby cousin.

The two women's only joint public appearance was in July 2018, when the Duchesses Kate and Meghan attended the Ladies Final at Wimbledon, where they watched Meghan's friend, Serena Williams.

Other than the official statement in which the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge expressed their delight and congratulated the Sussex's on the pregnancy, this is the first mention Duchess Kate has made of her sister-in-law's pregnancy. There have been growing rumors of "bad blood" between the two Duchesses.
