The 41st President of the United States, George H.W. Bush died in his home on Friday at the age of 94.

He left behind a grieving family led by his son and White House successor, George W. Bush. In a social media post, the younger Bush expressed his sadness and was equally grateful for his father’s “remarkable years.”

SUFFERING AFTER HIS WIFE'S DEATH

George H.W. passed away just eight months after his wife, Barbara Pierce Bush died on April 17. Her death seemed to weaken him because he was admitted to the hospital just a day after Barbara’s funeral due to a blood infection.
