Former President George H.W. Bush has been admitted to hospital again. This is the second time he’s needed medical care since his wife, Barbara Bush, passed away last month.

His spokesperson, Jim McGrath, tweeted the news about his admittance on May 27, 2018. The former President was said to be struggling with fatigue among other issues.

George H.W. Bush is currently in a Maine hospital. He’s currently in observation and dealing with low blood pressure and fatigue.

The former President's spokesperson, Jim McGrath, informed the public via Twitter that Bush was expected to stay at the hospital for a few days. He added that ‘The former president is awake and alert, and not in any discomfort.’

This is the second time that Bush has been to the hospital after recently losing his wife of 73 years, Barbara Bush. The former First Lady was 92 when she passed away on April 17.

The first time that Bush was hospitalized was on April 22. At the time, McGrath had shared that the former President was admitted to the Houston Methodist Hospital.

His hospitalization came after Bush contracted an infection that spread to his blood. McGrath revealed that the former President was responding to treatments and appeared to be recovering.

‘President @GeorgeHWBush was taken to Southern Maine Health Care (@SMHCHealth) today after experiencing low blood pressure and fatigue. He will likely remain there for a few days for observation.’

Three days later, the spokesperson issued an update saying that Bush had been moved from the intensive care unit to a regular patient room. It was revealed that Bush was expected to continue his recovery there for several more days.

He was said to be alert and talking with hospital staff, family, and friends. At the time, his doctors had been very pleased with his healing progress.

In a statement, the day after Barbara's death, the former President had shared that he’d always known that his wife was the most beloved woman in the world. He shared that he used to tease her that he had a complex about that fact

The statement further said that the outpouring of love and friendship that was being directed at The Enforcer was lifting up the whole family up. Bush shared that they had faith that she was in heaven.

They knew life would go on as she would have wanted. Fans were urged to cross the Bush family off their worry list.
