'The Voice' coaches deliver a greatest mashup of hits - now you can judge their singing skills
Coaches of ‘The Voice’ recently teamed up with ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ to show off their impressive vocal skills with a mashup of their greatest hits.
Fallon and The Roots joined the stars in singing a few of their biggest hits, all a capella in a brilliant new mashup video. Chosen songs included ‘She Will Be Loved,’”Spotlight,’ and ‘Miss Independent,’ with the songs flowing seamlessly from one to the other in a brilliant display of talent.
Jennifer Hudson, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Kelly Clarkson showed off their talent in a well-designed mashup, with the video presented in grid style fashion, much like ‘The Brady Bunch.’

The playful exchange between artists added an element of fun to the video, like when J. Hud swatted Adam’s box out of frame, and Blake kept looking at Jimmy as he had on a cowboy hat for Blake’s country segment.
As new performers joined the mashup, the grid eventually expanded to include 16 different performers. They made the intricate interweaving vocals sound easy as the artists didn’t miss a beat.
The interlacing of artists and songs worked surprisingly well together to produce an amazingly well put together mashup video. NBC’s ‘The Voice’ has showcased some amazing talent over the last 15 seasons since its premiere on April 26, 2011, and got based on the original singing talent show, ‘The Voice of Holland.’
The only current judges still on the panel that have been with the show since its start, is Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, having built up an endearing rapport between them since then.
But Adam Levine is now under fire for his actions during last Tuesday’s episode of ‘The Voice,’ when he chose the wrong way to root for one of his performers that were in the bottom two.
By practically throwing one of his singers under the bus and advocating for another while in a tight spot, fans have reacted with disgust, and some are even suggesting that Adam should be fired from the show, after getting upset with his unprofessional behavior.
Aspiring singers flock to the show for a chance at a record deal and $100,000 in cash as the winning prize and look up to their coaches for guidance and help.
Since it’s conception, the show received 115 award nominations and won a staggering 38 awards including six Emmy Awards, four People’s Choice Awards, three Teen Choice Awards and four Critics’ Choice Television Awards for Best Reality Series among others.
