On Monday night, the White House held a Christmas party. Many former employees of President Donald Trump’s administration were invited for the event.

First Lady Melania Trump kept her look simple in a black dress instead of keeping with the Christmas spirit in red and white colors. However, she did look stunning and elegant.

Standing beside her husband President Donald Trump as he made a speech at the White House, first lady Melania Trump looked gorgeous in a simple black dress.

For this occasion, the first lady opted for one solid color instead of going for more festive and brighter colors.

However, one thing that definitely stood out was her new hair color. The color went well with her dark ensemble.

Everyone appeared to be enjoying themselves as they posed for pictures and took to social media to share their experiences.

Former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly was seen smiling joyously as he took some images.

The man who just recently turned down an offer to be Kelly's replacement, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie was also in attendance. At the event, he posed for photos with former Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.

Walker tweeted an image of Melania’s cranberry trees that decorated the White House. Former Press Secretary Sean Spicer, who resigned last year in July, was also seen at the party.

Current Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke, who is set to leave at the end of the year, and Sebastian Gorka, who was reportedly forced out of his position as deputy assistant to the president last year, both took selfies with Ronald Reagan's portrait.

People that are currently part of Donald’s administration also made it to the big event. White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, and Kellyanne Conway were all part of the guests.

The president’s supporters Rush Limbaugh and Diamond and Silk also got invites to the event. NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre was also present.

The president’s son Donald Trump Jr. came to the event with his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle, who posted a picture of the couple on Instagram.

The guests were entertained by Army Choir, which sang Christmas carols.

Holiday treats like eggnog and even a replica of the White House built entirely out of gingerbread were visible on tables.

By December 26, the president would have attended 21 Christmas parties. All together they make up more than 52 hours of festivities in total.

A White House source revealed that Donald actually hated these parties, especially shaking people’s hands and posing for photos, but nonetheless, he will do it with a smile.
