Offset's father breaks silence & slams Cardi B for allegedly bringing devastation to their family

Offset’s father recently took to social media to come to his defense. The outburst comes in the wake of his breakup with Cardi B.

Offset recently made a public apology onstage during Cardi B’s set at Rolling Loud over the weekend. Now, just after his son's apology, Tony Cephus took to Facebook to weigh in on the drama.

“Right now, my family is going through a tumultuous time. What you see in the media is only the tip of the iceberg. Social media is a powerful tool, but certainly no place for family situations; however, our youth, specifically my son’s wife doesn’t understand that. She seems to want to take everything to social media without regard to the devastation it has on others, past present and future or specifically what it does to the other children.” wrote the upset father.

Offset's father spoke out against the incidents that he believes tore his family apart. In the post, Tony admitted that his son is not perfect.

“He has done his share of dirt," said the father who also believes, “the whole scenario is a tic for tack, mudslinging situation fueled by jealousy, envy, insecurities, psychological issues, drugs, etc, etc, etc.”

Despite Offset’s mistakes, Tony told fans that like his father he felt that it was his duty as a father to protect him The distraught father added, “Right now, I cannot do that.”

He added, “We are talking about a 25-year-old with an unlimited supply of money, women chasing him, people at his disposal, etc.” He added that his relationship with Cardi B spelled a recipe for disaster.

“Couple that with a hot-headed female that thrives off of social media attention and is on the same financial level as/above him and it’s a recipe for disaster.” wrote the father as he blamed Cardi B for the situation

He said the situation has only been blown out of proportion by “psychological issues, depression, and drugs.” He went on to say that his life has been turned upside down since his son became famous.

Between Offset's legal troubles causing the feds to raid his father's house and the non-stop "phone calls, texts, DM’s, etc" that his father gets inundated with due to his drama-filled life his father is fed up.

His father also claimed Cardi released the first photo of Kulture on Instagram “out of spite.” “It was supposed to come out in his album."

“My whole family is in an uproar right now and I can’t fix it. I would not wish this on anyone. I would give anything to go back to simply being a school teacher and coach.” said the father.
