Remember Cole Brown from 'Martin'? He and Bobby Brown have grown sons by the same woman

Bobby Brown and Carl Payne might not have much in common at first glance, but the truth is that they each have grown sons through the same woman, Melika Williams.

When Bobby, the singer and songwriter best known for his participation in the group New Edition, was 17 years old, he and Melika welcomed to the world their first son, Landon.

Years later, in 1992, Carl and Melika tied the knot. The “Martin” actor helped raise Landon since he was six years old, which is why he refers to Carl as his “other dad.”

Unfortunately, Melika filed for divorce after 22 years of marriage citing irreconcilable differences. One of the most impressive aspects of Landon, who is 32 years old at the moment, is that he used to be a skinny man.

However, after a couple of years of a strict gym routine and healthy diet, he managed to grow some muscles and now looks like a bodybuilder. Landon reportedly lives off stage plays and is the proud father of a son, too.

LARGE FAMILY

Landon is not Bobby’s only son – he has seven children. After leaving Melika, Bobby started a relationship with Kim Ward, who had two children with him, LaPrincia Brown and Bobby Brown Jr.

Later, the artist would marry legendary singer Whitney Houston in 1992. Soon after walking down the aisle, they had daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown. The couple parted ways in 2007.

After that, Bobby and Alicia Etheredge got married in 2012 and welcomed three children: Cassius, Bodhi, and Hendrix. At the moment, Bobby is 49 years old and he remains active in the entertainment industry touring and performing in concerts, as well as working in films.

GROWN CHILDREN

Earlier this year, Bobby took to Instagram to share a throwback photo of his family wearing elegant outfits. In the image, Bobby was posing in white pants, a matching shirt, and a black blazer that he combined with his hat and glasses. His wife, Alicia Etheredge, put on a black dress and covered herself with a shiny golden coat.

The couple’s children were in front of their parents in black or white outfits, too. One of the things that Bobby’s followers noticed almost immediately was their physical similarities.
