Magic Johnson shares sweet message to daughter on her b-day after she barely escaped home invasion

Elisa Johnson turned a year older and her father, Magic Johnson paid homage to the milestone by sharing two photos of them from then and now.

Magic Johnson took to his Instagram to draw attention to how much his daughter has grown into a fine young lady. He selected two photos to mark his daughter’s birthday, one where she’s merely six or seven sitting on his lap during his NBA-playing days, and another where they’re goofing around as adults.

The sports legend captioned the pics with a “happy birthday” shout out and a birthday wish for his only daughter.

“My baby girl then and now. Happy birthday to my beautiful daughter Elisa! May God continue to bless you.”

BLESSED TO HAVE ESCAPED

Elisa is truly blessed after her recent escape from a scary home invasion. Two men stormed into the house she was renting with her friends while she was sleeping inside her room. The armed men harassed and robbed her friends and were unaware when Elisa escaped from the back door. “God is good,” she later wrote on her Instagram story after the incident. Luckily, her friends were also left unharmed by the suspects though they lost over $30-$40k worth of jewelry, cash, and electronics.

SHAVED HAIR DON'T CARE

The last time Elisha featured prominently in the news was when she bravely chopped off her hair and left almost nothing. Last September, she posted a photo revealing her newly shaven head and expressed her sentiments about her empowering move.

“SO inspired by all the powerful women who do not let HAIR define who they are...I love the woman I am, and I encourage everyone to try and conquer their own personal insecurities, and rather than letting these insecurities define us, take the power away from them. #fallinlovewithyourselfFIRST.”

Elisha is one courageous woman baring herself through a shaved head and fleeing from a dangerous situation. She truly has a lot to celebrate on her birthday and we are one with her father in wishing her more blessings.
