However, what makes this album extra special is that he features his youngest son, Matteo Bocelli. During an interview, Andrea confessed that he only found out his son could sing two years ago.

Andrea Bocelli is a blind award-winning classical singer who has sold more than 90 million albums worldwide. Although he’s a classical musician, that hasn’t stopped him from collaborating with other artists like Ed Sheeran.

However, on his recent album, “Si” the famous musician collaborated with his youngest son, Matteo Bocelli. The pair had an interview this year on "CBS This Morning" with co-host Gayle King.

For more on this story go to our Twitter account @amomama_usa. She confessed that when she heard the single "Fall on Me," she couldn’t help but want to cry.

The song is a collaboration between Andrea and Matteo. King explained to the pair that she could feel the emotion of the track.

Agreeing with her, Andrea said, "The song is beautiful because it's a very honest and inspired song." Matteo added, "It talks about the beautiful relation that I have with my father. And about the relation that many sons has with their parents."

His father quickly corrected his English saying, "have with their parents." However, the collaboration between the two might not have happened if Matteo’s mother hadn’t shared with Andrea that the young man could actually sing.

Andrea shared that he only found out two years ago that his youngest son could sing. The opera singer explained:

"Because he stayed at the piano, he knows music just for this… And one time his mother came to me and said, 'Have you heard Matteo sing?' And I said no. And she said, 'Listen to him because he's very nice.'"

Andrea lost his sight at an early age after being hit in the head during a soccer game. However, he never let his disability stop him from participating in activities like horseback riding.

Matteo admitted that he worried about his father riding, "but that's his passion." His father only found success in his mid-30s.

He shared: "It's better for the soul because success is very dangerous." Speaking about his own goals for the future, Matteo said, "My dream is to have the success of my father."

Another person that Andrea has collaborated with is Celine Dion on “The Prayer” in 1998. Their song was featured on the soundtrack to the film “Quest For Camelot” in the same year.
