Kate Gosselin under fire after Jon Gosselin’s recent claims about son Collin

Kate Gosselin is under a lot of social media trolling, mostly from ex-husband Jon's fans who are pissed at the former "Kate Plus 8" star due to the recent claims made by the DJ.

Jon Gosselin posted a picture on Instagram of himself with his children who were all standing by a Christmas tree. He captioned it:

“Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from our family to yours!!!”

The adorable picture attracted so many comments, but one stood out. The fan said:

“I’d love to know if he actually has ‘special needs’ or if he just didn't deal with Kate's BS like we all suspect.”

Jon set the record straight through Us Weekly - the father stated that his son, Collin "is not on any spectrum or special needs.”

This recent statement has put his estranged wife under a lot of pressure. Many believe the 14-year-old should never have gone to the treatment facility for children with special needs in the first place.

Kate has not posted anything on social media since the attacks began. Her last post, taken on Thanksgiving is flooded with various comments in response to Jon's latest claims.

One of the comments on the page read:

“Everybody knew Collins wasn't special needs...You're forgetting that we all watched him grow up on the show. Jon confirming this is what we all already suspected. Collin just didn't want to take your crap.”

The angry fan went on to predict that all of Kate's children will eventually turn against her and write books later in future about their terrible childhood.

“Why would K do that to him? Disgusting!” - another fan wrote.

But not all the comments were hateful; some were indeed sympathetic. One person left a comment on Jon's page; told him how she's been working with kids who have autism, special needs and emotional disturbances for a decade.

She pointed out that no treatment facility would admit a child as a residential without an actual diagnosis.

In 2016, Kate told People that Collin had a reasonably fluid diagnosis and he needed to learn specific strategies to help him deal with things. This was after so many wondered why the young boy needed to be at a "special needs" facility. Further mentioning that it's been such an enormous struggle she's had to deal with alone.

Jon Gosselin, on the other hand, claimed to be entirely out of the loop when his ex decided to send their son off to the facility. He was unaware of the whereabouts of Collin for over a year.

Earlier this month, Jon mentioned that Collin has no relationship with his mother. From the recent events, it seems prominent that the young teenager holds a grudge against his mom if Jon Gosselin's latest claims are true.
