4-year-old girl's heartfelt public plea to get her dad a kidney transplant went viral
A very concerned 4-year-old has sent out a heartfelt public plea begging for someone to donate a kidney for her dad who desperately needs a transplant. The video, shown below, went viral.
A young Atlanta pre-schooler, Madison Johnson enlisted her mother’s help to create a video. In the recording made over the holidays the young girl pleas with the public for someone to donate a kidney to her father, Deblon Johnson.
The little girl uploaded the video to YouTube on December 26. Madison sends out a very clear and concise message stating her requests.
“Hi, my name is Madison and I’m 4 years old and I need your help,” the young girl says in her video. “My daddy needs a kidney. His blood type is B positive. Please, please, please call my mommy today.”

Her mom assisted her with the upload. They ensured to attach a document listing the requirements for kidney donation.
Madison instructed donors who wish to help her father, who is suffering from kidney failure, to ensure they are either O or B positive blood types. The document contains more requirements including being a non-smoker and having no history of high blood pressure, illness or abusing drugs or alcohol.

She politely requested that anyone who fits the requirements to contact her mother, Kameisha Johnson. She went on to tell them that they can do so through phone or email.
“I’m happy that the word is spreading, but it makes me really sad because she doesn’t really understand what going on,” said Johnson.

Both Kameisha and Delbon are pleased that their daughter’s video has gone viral and is helping to raise awareness for his plight. Even though they are heartsore that she is having to deal with such a difficult situation at such a young age.
“Sure hope your daddy finds someone who can help him love your sweet post, GOD Bless you,” one Facebook user said on Monday.
Delbon has been on the kidney transplant list for four years.His kidney function is progressively decreasing as the days pass.
“It’s actually functioning about 10 percent right now,” revealed Delbon, “I pee probably once a week and I can feel my body just breaking down slowly and slowly.”
