Excessive "sensitivity" to differences is crippling society, and threatening free speech, claims movie star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

According to the wrestling legend the Snowflake Generation is reaching ridiculous extremes, taking offense for the sake of revindicating their differences.

“People can be who they want, be with who they want, and live how they want. That can only be a good thing – but generation snowflake or, whatever you want to call them, are actually putting us backwards.”

THE SNOWFLAKE GENERATION

The Snowflake Generation is the moniker applied to denote a group of young adults who are notorious for taking offense at trivia, and considered less resilient than previous generations.

Snowflakes refuse to, or are incapable of dealing with views that challenge their own, considering all and any opposition offensive.

Johnson characterizes "snowflakes" as undemocratic, and that their attempts at controlling others border on censorship.

SNOWFLAKES BAN CLAPPING AT UNIVERSITY

A spate of recent Snowflake stories, such as Formula 1 banning the ever popular Grid Girls over fears of sexism accusations, and the demand for the rebranding of treats as "Gingerbread People."

This follows the utterly ridiculous banning on clapping by university unions in favor of "jazz hands." Clapping, supposedly, might upset sensitive students.

"SNOWFLAKES ARE LOOKING FOR A REASON TO BE OFFENDED"

Reacting to the reports, Johnson pointed out that the Snowflakes' need to "sanitize" social behavior is defeating the purpose of generations of activists who fought for the right to free speech.

"SNOWFLAKE" CENSORSHIP IS UNDEMOCRATIC

Johnson characterizes Snowflakes as undemocratic, and that their attempts at controlling others border on censorship:

“I don’t have to agree with what somebody thinks, who they vote for, what they voted for, what they think, but I will back their right to say or believe it.That’s democracy."

"The Rock" points out that Snowflakes are promoting intolerance in a world that has become accepting of differences and guarantees every person the right to express their opinions openly.

Johnson's fellow actor Ricky Gervais has urged people to "Ignore the Snowflakes and joke about whatever the f*** you like”.

THE ROCK RILLED OVER JOHN KRASINSKI'S NUDE SELFIES

Joining the Snowflakes on Dwayne Johnson's crosshairs is his friend and fellow actor, John Krasinski.

Krasinski ran afoul of "The Rock" after he sent him tweets of himself working out in the nude - in Johnson's traveling gym.

Apparently, Krasinski asked Johnson for permission to use his gym, which the star graciously permitted.

He was to regret his generosity bitterly when Krasinski sent him selfies captioned:

“Hey man, thanks for a great work out. Feeling real comfortable, real at home and didn’t feel like I needed to wear clothes”‘

Krasinski gleefully admitted to Ellen DeGeneres that he had worked out in the buff, and had neglected to wipe down the equipment that had been in close contact with his most intimate parts.

"This is a bad place to tell him that I never washed the equipment. I’ve never wiped it down – that’s his job."

It's very unlikely he will ever be allowed anywhere near Johnson's gym again.

In a related story, 'The Rock' proved he is a big softie in Christmas photo with his two little daughters.
