Nene Leakes' husband Gregg reveals he's tired of hurting his wife amid battle with cancer
Nene Leakes' husband, Greg is speaking out. He reveals he is tired of hurting the star while he is battling his cancer.
Gregg Leakes’ cancer battle has seen many issues rise up between them. While it allowed Greg to become the voice of health issues in the Black community and the trauma brought the couple together, the journey has had many ups and downs for the couple.
Months ago, a frustrated NeNe called Gregg out for being “mean, grouchy and evil” during his cancer battle. She had taken to Instagram to vent her feelings.
In her post she revealed, “I would just think if I have or had cancer, I would see life so differently! Not being mean, grouchy and evil for no reason! But that’s me. Pray for me.”
Later, NeNe said that while people realize cancer affects families it's not often that they consider the stress caretakers endure. She went on to talk about how difficult it is to be the caretaker.
At the time, Gregg had remained mum about the situation. However, in a recent Instagram post, he has agreed to the comments made by his wife.
He did not provide specifics about his poor behavior. However, he did admit to it and went on to promise he would be trying hard to do better.
"We always hurt the ones we Love.. because they allow us to hurt them rather than snap back. I’m tired of hurting my wife who is only trying to take good care of me and wants only the best for me too. She deserves much more for her hard efforts and tireless hours spent on me. I Pray to God to get it together. She’s done NO wrong... this is ALL on me...... Cancer WILL change your Life..." wrote Greg Leakes in his post.
In another post, he apologized to some of the medical professionals who’ve been working with him. He admits in the post to acting mean towards the people around him before saying it was never his intention to behave like that.
"I wish i could get it right everyday & not be mean to my wife, doctors or anybody else. It’s NOT my intentions to be so. I stand in the “need” of Prayer... You can’t help but wonder what’s around the next turn for yourself." read his caption on the second pic.
"Forgive me Hunni, forgive me America..... #neverbeenherebefore #nevergiveup #Imscaredtoo" concluded Greg.
