Cary Grant's Only Daughter Is Already an Adult and She's Following in Her Father's Footsteps
Cary Grant, best known for being a dashing actor on several Alfred Hitchcock films like "North By Northwest," was a dad to Jennifer Grant, who decided to follow in his footsteps as an actress.
Born on January 18, 1904, Cary Grant ran away from home at the age of 13 to perform as a juggler with a comedy troupe. While they toured the US, he honed his acting skills and signed with Paramount Pictures by the 1930s.
While he had many relationships, Cary was a dad-of-one to Jennifer, who was born in 1966 to his wife, Dyan Cannon. He was a hands-on dad, and he tried to spend as much time as he could with Jennifer.
MEMORIES WITH HER DAD
Despite her dad being gone for a while now, Jennifer keeps him close to her heart. In fact, she once shared that when she was a little girl, her dad rented a home in the neighborhood she trick-or-treated in during Halloween just to see her. She said:
" “I just sort of ran up and got the candy and gave him a hug and left."

JENNIFER GRANT'S LIFE
Jennifer grew up in California and went on to pursue a degree in history and political science from Stanford University in 1987. She initially pursued a non-acting career, which is something her father approved of.
However, now 55 years old, Jennifer has starred in several movies and television shows. She landed her first role in 1993 on the television show “Beverly Hills, 90210," and it opened many doors for her in the industry.

RISE TO STARDOM
Her famous father was reportedly not supportive of her pursuing a career in acting, so she took up a job in a law firm. She also had a stint as a chef.
In the end, her desire for acting later prevailed. After her TV debut in 1993, she starred in the film “Savage" three years later. Jennifer later starred in the movies “The Evening Star," “Erasable You," “My Engagement Party," “The View from the Swing," “Going Shopping," and more.
GRIEF OVER HER FATHER'S DEATH
Jennifer has written about her relationship with the legendary actor and how his death impacted her life. She was only 20 years old when her father died. She once wrote:
“The grief of losing my father has come in waves over the years, as it does with most people. His love and devotion as a father provided my closest, most intimate relationship.”
Jennifer was once married to Randy Zisk from 1993 to 1996. She went on to have a son named Cary Benjamin Grant with her ex-boyfriend Arthur Page IV in 2008, and in November 2011, she gave birth to a daughter named Davian Adele Grant.
