Black man in MAGA hat gets angry and slams Hooters waitress after she asked if he supports Trump

Tommy Sotomayor, a YouTube personality, was involved in an altercation with a Hooters waitress over the MAGA hat he was wearing.

In the six-minute clip that the man uploaded to his YouTube account, which contains strong language, he explained that the waitress walked up to him and asked if he was a Donald Trump supporter due to the “Make America Great Again” hat he was wearing.

Once Sotomayor admitted he was indeed a Trump supporter, the waitress, only identified as Shay, allegedly got upset, flipped her hair, and walked away from him.

TELLING HER PARTY WHAT HAD HAPPENED

Sotomayor, who calls himself the “King of Controversy” for the multiple videos he uploads in which he criticizes black women, told the people who were at a table (who were his own party) what had happened, and they kept supporting him.

After that, Shay asked Sotomayor to keep her out of his video, but the man said, “we have to deal with black folks acting like this. She gonna sit here and talk to me and take her off my [expletive] camera” [sic].

ASKING HIM TO TAKE HER OFF THE CAMERA

Shay asked him to take her off his camera again, but the man said, “Well I'm still filming, and I'm not taking it off so you can call the police.” After complaining about Shay’s behavior for a while, he walked up to the manager and told him about the incident.

The manager then called Shay over and asked her why she was making fun of the hat before pointing out that she would wear it, too, proving that he was also a Trump supporter. The waitress then pointed out that all she did was asking if Sotomayor was a Trump supporter.

ASKING TO REMOVE HIS VIDEOS FROM YOUTUBE

It is not the first time that Sotomayor gets involved in a controversial video. People consider that he is so problematic that they even created a petition asking for his content to be removed from YouTube. More than 14,000 people have signed it, claiming that his videos are harmful and offensive to Black women.

The petition reads, “he is an irresponsible, malicious, perpetrator of misogynistic and racist hatred and spreads negative and degrading messages, imagery, views, and stereotypes about black women on a daily, regular and consistent basis.

A SIMILAR SITUATION

Unfortunately, it is not the first time that a Black lady is involved in an altercation. Timothy, a White Uber driver, was supposed to take Kiara White to her destination but he failed to navigate on his app and ended up losing his way.

At that point, he asked her to leave the car, but the lady refused, saying that she had already paid for the ride. He launched into an expletive-filled racist tirade that saw him continually using the N-word and making monkey noises. The video contains strong language.
