Simon Cowell, one of the most famous faces on television, has shared his opinion regarding "America's Got Talent: Champions."

The 59-year-old has seen plenty of acts ever since he was a part of "American Idol," so he knows exactly what it takes to make it in show business.

According to him, the new "Got Talent" format will force winner acts to be on their toes and to step up their game if they wish to be crowned the ultimate champion.

A WHOLE NEW CHALLENGE

The show puts former AGT and "Britain's Got Talent" winners on stage once again but this time they will have to face each other in order to climb the tough ladder that separates them from success.

"It was jumping into the unknown. You don’t know what it’s going to like. I think what was good was that everyone had to up their game when they were competing with different people and surprise results."

THE KEY IS TO SURPRISE THE CROWD

Unfortunately for those in the competition, the judges will not be the only ones deciding their future, and Cowell is well aware of this as he has seen plenty of great acts being eliminated by popular vote in the past.

The longtime judge used Darci Lynne Farmer and Ashleigh Butler, both already eliminated, as examples of how powerful and decisive the audience's vote really is.

HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY

Cowell also claimed that the judges tried not to patronize people. Although it seems cruel, telling someone with little talent that they should give up seems to be the most merciful thing to do.

The 59-year-old has been doing it for years and his honesty has created a love/hate relationship with the fans, with some supporting him and others standing against him.

It has recently been reported that Cowell, a producer of the show, was looking forward to replace fellow judge Heidi Klum for someone new but, so far, that piece of information is only a rumor.

HEIDI KLUM IS LEAVING THE SHOW?

The former top-model is currently going through a very happy phase in her life as she recently got engaged to Tom Kaulitz, with whom she has been dating for over a year.

Klum couldn't help but take to her Instagram page to share a black-and-white photo of herself and Kaulitz, with the beautiful ring her 29-year-old fiancé gave her right in the center.
