Serena Williams dances to Beyoncé on 'Lip Sync Battle' and makes Andy Roddick's jaw drop
Serena Williams joined her friend Brooklyn to make Andy Roddick's jaw drop as they danced to Beyonce on "Lip Sync Battle."
Brooklyn Decker realized she needed some reinforcements for her upcoming Lip Sync Battle showdown with her husband Andy Roddick. She turned to tennis great, Serena Williams for help.
Decker, 31, surprised her husband Roddick, 36 when she had Williams join her onstage for her performance of Beyoncé‘s hit track, “Sorry.”
During a preview clip of the upcoming lip sync, Decker dances in front of a bus. Williams, 37, stands atop of the bus in a black leotard and over-the-knee boots and Roddick is visibly shocked and excited to see his wife has someone to help her.
After the duo’s lip sync, Williams told host LL Cool J, “Oh my god, it was so fun. It was so fun. We’re here to win this.”
Williams also appeared in the music video for the same Beyonce song in a surprise cameo in 2016. During the cameo, she showed off her twerking skills.
In the video, the athlete walked through the halls of a Louisiana plantation. She then began dancing alongside the singer as she lounged in a throne-like chair.
"You appeared in the actual video with Beyoncé, obviously, what was it like doing it live for the crowd here?" Lip Sync Battle co-host LL Cool J asked Williams in the preview clip.
Williams grinned brightly and exclaimed she was having a great time. She added that they were ready to win the battle.
“I’ve known Bey for a long time,” Williams said in an interview about her appearance in Beyonce's video, noting that she “got really sore from dancing” for the clip
It's not the first time Serena has made headlines for an adorable moment. Last year the proud mummy made a bold statement to her competitors.
The 36-year-old took to Instagram to share the strong message saying, "This mama is going to knock you out.”
