Kate Middleton shared a sweet family photo with elementary school students
Duchess Kate participated in a show-and-tell at a North London school and delighted the children with a sweet family photo.
The Duchess of Cambridge may be a busy Royal, but her first "job" is always that of the devoted mother to three adorable children, and the loving wife of an equally committed husband.
Duchess Kate has proved once again why she is the humane face of the new British monarchy, and why her people love her so much - and she did it on a simple trip to a primary school.
“This is a photograph of my family. These are my children, and this is my husband. And my family makes me feel happy.”
A ROYAL AT A SHOW AND TELL
The Duchess of Cambridge was participating in a "show-and-tell" at the Lavender Primary School in North London, and the object she chose to share as something that makes her happy was a photo of her family.
Duchess Kate, 37, took out of her purse a photo that features herself accompanied by her husband, Prince William, and their three children: Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3, and the baby Prince Louis, just 9 months old.

SHARING HER LOVE FOR HER FAMILY WITH CHILDREN
The photo the Duchess showed her tiny audience is from her 2018 Christmas card, and she went on to explain:
“We like playing outside together and spending lots of time together as a family, and that makes me feel happy.”
PROMOTING CHILDREN'S MENTAL HEALTH WEEK
The Duchess was working to promote Children’s Mental Health Week in conjunction with the charity, Place2Be.
She asked the children a question about their own lives:
“Do you like to make time with your families, too? What do you like doing sometimes?”
WHAT IS CHILDREN'S MENTAL HEALTH WEEK ABOUT?
Place2Be, which is a children's mental health charity, provides school-based support and counseling for pupils, families, teachers and school staff.
In 2015 the organization, which is patronized by the Duchess of Cambridge, organized the first Children's Mental Health Week to promote and raise awareness of the issues that can affect children's mental, and emotional wellbeing.
WORKING FOR CHILDREN'S WELLBEING
Duchess Kate glowed as she watched the students perform a song for her, and was introduced to the school dog, Herbie, who broke protocol by kissing the delighted Royal.
The Duchess also met with some of the children's parents and spoke to them about the difficulties and challenges involved in being a parent, and how to keep their children healthy.
Duchess Kate herself has quite a task ahead of her, raising three Royal children under the relentless glare of the public eye, but she and Prince William look to be up to the challenge.
DUCHESS KATE DAZZLES IN EMERALD GREEN
The Duchess of Cambridge stunned admirers in a striking emerald green frock at a visit to two primary schools in London to promote Children's Mental Health Week.
Duchess Kate visited Lavender Primary School and Alperton Community School where she met the children and spoke to staff and parents about their concerns.
At Lavender she participated in a "show-and-tell," and at Alperton, she met the "World's Best Teacher" Andria Zafirakou.
Duchess Kate, who is known for her warmth and her approachability, is equally famous for her elegance, and she did not disappoint on either count.
The Royal wore a stunning green Eponine dress and matched them with LK Bennett boots. She wore her chestnut locks loose and falling over her shoulders, and a lovely pair of gold pavé earrings Kiki McDonough earrings.
In a related story, Kate Middleton's reaction to Princess Charlotte and Prince George arriving at Princess Eugenie's wedding was just like any other doting mother's.
