John Ritter’s son is all grown up and he looks exactly like his famous dad

Jason Ritter has a striking resemblance to his famous late father, John Ritter.

The 38-year-old actor is also following in the footsteps of his father, who passed away in 2003 at the age of 54.

Jason is one of John’s three children with actress Nancy Morgan. The other two are Carly and Tyler. The latter is also an actor.

Jason is known for his roles as Kevin Girardi in the television series, “Joan of Arcadia”. He also appeared in “The Class”, in the NBC series “The Event” and in “Gravity Falls”.

The actor also received an Emmy Award nomination for playing the recurring role of Mark Cyr in the NBC television series, “Parenthood”.

RECENT PROJECTS

More recently, Jason has been featured in the American period sitcom, “Another Period” as Lord Frederick Bellacourt.

In 2018, he also had a supporting role in “The Tale”, an autobiographical feature film, which premiered at the 2018 Sundance Festival on January 20, 2018. The movie premiered on HBO on May 26, 2018.

Jason is engaged to actress Melanie Lynskey and shares a daughter with her. Their daughter was born in December 2018.

Jason’s father, an actor, and comedian is known for the role of Jack Tripper on the ABC sitcom, “Three’s Company”, which ran from 1977 to 1984.

His performance in the sitcom earned him a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award in 1984.

John, born Jonathan Southworth Ritter, appeared in more than 100 films and television series.

John and Morgan divorced in 1996. He married actress Amy Yasbeck on September 18, 1999. They shared a daughter, Stella.

John suffered from heart problems while rehearsing for “8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter” on September 11, 2003.

He was diagnosed as having a heart attack, particularly an aortic dissection, a tear in the aorta that grows. He died during surgery.
