Fans of "The Young And The Restless" star Kristoff St. John are upset by the show's feeble tribute to the actor.

The many fans of the "Young and the Restless" star Kristoff St. John are still reeling from his unexpected death on February 3, 2019.

The producers of the show released a tribute video to honor St John's memory, but the gesture has angered fans who have flooded social media with protests.

“I’ve been a part of something that will somehow be in a time capsule… and I’m part of that? Yeah, I’m one of the brothas on ‘The Young and the Restless,’ I’m one of the sons. I’m one of the family members. I was there. Yeah, man, Neil Winters was an integral part.”

The show aired a 1-minute 30-second clip that showed the actor talking about playing his role of Neil Winters.

The clip, which the fans feel is inadequate to honor the actor's legacy, ended with a still of the actor, accompanied by the following text:

“In loving memory of our dear friend.”

CBS has not reacted to the comments or the criticism, even though many fans even called for the cancelation of "The Young And The Restless."

A TRAGIC AND UNEXPECTED DEATH

St John, 52, who had revealed his enduring grief over the death by suicide in 2014 of his son Julian just days before his own death, is presumed to have died of an alcohol overdose. The final results of the investigation are still pending.

FANS LASH OUT AT CBS OVER "FEEBLE TRIBUTE"

Angry fans have flooded social media with comments, none of them flattering to CBS, for what they feel is an insultingly weak tribute to the actor who worked for the iconic day-time show for 27 years.

“Wait. After 20 years that’s all the tribute CBS could muster up? That’s (sic) was just as sad as his death. RIP Kristoff St. John”

“Not impressed at all. They didn’t even have him in the opening montage! Hopefully they’ll give him a proper memorial on the show!”

ST JOHN TO BE LAID TO REST BESIDE HIS SON

Although details of the funeral and memorial service for Kristoff St. John have not been released, it has been revealed that the actor's final resting place will be beside his beloved son Julian's at the Valley Oaks Memorial Park in Westlake Village, California

Although a postmortem investigation has been conducted, the cause of death is still pending a toxicology report.
