Gucci Mane & wife celebrate his birthday in Puerto Rico after his baby mama claims she's on welfare
Rapper Gucci Mane, whose real name is Radric Delantic Davis, turned 39 on February 12. He celebrated his birthday in Puerto Rico next to his wife, Keyshia Ka’oir.
In the photo that the man uploaded to his Instagram account, he appeared wearing plaid swim shorts, similar flip-flops, and black sunglasses while posing by a pool with a beautiful garden behind him.
Since he was not wearing a shirt, his tattooed, muscled body was on full display. For the caption, Gucci wrote, “born legendary on the 12th of February,” followed by the hashtag “BigGuwop.”
As soon as the man uploaded that photo, his followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts. Most of them wished him a happy birthday, while others wrote that he deserved to enjoy his day.
KEYSHIA’S GIFT
Gucci’s wife, Keyshia, also took to Instagram to honor her man. In the first pic of her slideshow, the couple appeared posing at the beach wearing several pieces of jewelry while smiling at the camera.
The rapper made sure that the ring in his little finger was visible. The second part of the slideshow was a short clip of that ring as it was a gift Keyshia got for him. The massive, shiny, 35-carat piece is worth $1 million, reported Page Six.
Expert Mace Blickman said that “the center stone is a pear-shaped diamond mounted on top of an emerald-cut eternity band.” Apart from that, he said that each diamond in the band seemed to be one carat each.
Blickman added,
“There is a micro-diamond pavé setting on both the wedding band and the gallery supporting the pear-shaped diamond. This piece is absolutely one of a kind."
GUCCI’S CHILD SUPPORT CASE
It is not the first time that Gucci makes headlines, though. In January, Sheena Evans, the mother of his 11-year-old son, Keitheon, claimed that she and her son were living in poverty.
Since the rapper has been living a luxurious lifestyle, Sheena considered that Gucci could give his son more money, so she requested an increase in child-support payments.
Sheena’s lawyer revealed that she was living on welfare in section 8 housing, that she was on government assistance, and that Keitheon was on Medicaid while Gucci was a “multi-millionaire,” especially for his expensive jewelry collection.
THE MAN’S RESPONSE
In October 2018, Sheena filed documents requesting for $20k monthly instead of the $2,026 the rapper is currently paying her. Gucci denied the lady’s claims then, saying his income never changed since 2011.
He maintains he’s paying Sheena enough considering he’s also shouldering their son’s health insurance and medical expenses. The rapper asked the case to be dismissed.
