Magic Johnson shares moving tribute to his 'amazing wife' of 27 years in sweet Valentine's Day post

Magic Johnson has a lot to be thankful for, but if there's one person he should be sending all his love to, it's his wife of 27 years, Cookie. Through all his ups and downs, Cookie was right there with him, and he made sure to let her know just how dear she is to him this Valentine's day.

In every occasion that the Johnsons celebrate, Magic makes sure to share a simple tribute to his wife, Cookie. This Valentine's Day, he made sure to do just that, sharing a throwback photo of both of them when they were younger. The NBA legend started off his message by greeting his "amazing wife" a Happy Valentine's Day. He then goes on to share with everyone what kind of love his wife has been giving him through these years.

Just last month, Cookie celebrated her 60th birthday. It was a special occasion not only for her but also for Magic, who shared numerous birthday greetings for his special wife on social media.

After being married for almost thirty years, you'd think these photos would come with short captions as they'd probably run out of things to say by now. However, this proves to be wrong for Magic, who had a lot to say to his lovely wife as she turned another year old.

Magic's first birthday post included Cookie looking very happy while surrounded by her closest girlfriend, in what the NBA legend shared to be her "60 closest girlfriends". The lovely ladies all gathered at the Bel-Air hotel for brunch, of course with Magic in attendance.

His second greeting was a carousel of all their different photos through the years, with a heartwarming caption for his "beautiful queen". According to Magic, her 60th year on Earth doesn't only mark her birthday, but also the 42nd year that both of them met when she was only 18 years old.

"Cookie, you truly encompass a Proverbs 31 woman. You are clothed with strength and dignity, and laugh without fear of the future. When you speak, your words are wise, and you give instructions with kindness. Your wisdom is treasured."

He ends his sweet birthday messages by expressing how the 42 years he's known her has been the best of his life, and that he is amazed to see his wife constantly striving to be the best version of herself.

Magic has nothing but good words to say to his wife all the time, and this is a testament of how strong their love is almost three decades after their marriage. With a love so pure, no doubt they will be celebrating many more milestone occasions together.
