Omarion & Apryl Jones' son is now 4 and proves he has epic dance moves like dad in adorable video

Omarion and Apryl Jones’ oldest child, Megaa Omari Grandberry, showed off his best moves in a recent Instagram live with his father. The 4-year-old seems to have inherited Omarion’s dancing skills, just like the singer hoped.

Little Megaa is stealing hearts since he was born. The cute boy is continuously featured on Jones’ Instagram account, and even though he barely makes appearances on Omarion’s more career-focused feed, whenever the singer shows off his kids, fans can’t stop gushing about them.

In a recent Instagram live, Omarion was enjoying some time with Megaa, and his little sister A’Mei, when a dance-off took place. The long-haired preschooler took over the dance floor —the living room— donning blue sweatpants, black t-shirt, and white socks, as he showed off his funky moves while his dad’s friend cheered behind the camera.

Then, Omarion joined the fun too, dancing next to the kid with a big smile on his face. Even A’Mei made a short appearance, dancing to the beat alongside her dad and brother before the camera focused on Megaa once again.

Back in 2014, when Megaa was only 1-month-old, and his parents were still together, Omarion and Apryl Jones talked about their hopes for their kid’s future in an interview with HipHollywood.

“I don’t want to force my child to be anything other than what he wants to be,” said Apryl. Omarion agreed, but also stated that there would be some “mandatory things,” like dancing.

The B2K member explained that even if Megaa doesn’t want to pursue dancing professionally, he wanted to raise the kid as a dancer. And he did.

“Dancing will be our thing. Whether or not he wants to go professional," he said. “But that's going to be our thing. Like every time he comes through, 'Where your eight count at? I need to see it. Let's go up!'"

And just like Omarion kept his word and taught Megaa his best moves, it seems like Apryl Jones has also held hers.

The model and debuting singer warned fans last December that they were going to see her kids spending more time with their father while she worked on her career.

She explained that Omarion was being of little help with the kids, and wasn’t even paying child support, so, she needs to work more to provide for the little ones.

But since she can’t afford a nanny to help, she warned Omarion would have to step in and spend more time with the children. “He is going to take his kids as he should,” Apryl vowed in an Instagram live. “Y’all going to see him more with them.” And continued:

“Y’all going to see me working more. I am able to provide for my children, but because he is not helping me, I don’t have a sitter, a nanny or any help. His family doesn’t help me. It’s difficult […] He’ll have them, and I’ll see them here and there, but he needs to be fully responsible.”

Omarion and Apryl welcomed son Megaa in 2014 and daughter A’Mei in 2016. Four months later, they ended their relationship and announced the split on social media.
