Both George and Barbara passed away last year. Barbara took her last breath earlier in April at the age of 92, while George died later on November 30 at the age of 94.

When George passed away right before the start of holiday season, his other granddaughter, Barbara Pierce Bush, explained that he died before Christmas to join his wife because the pair had never spent their holiday apart.

Jenna also expressed her gratitude toward her grandmother for teaching her to use her own “voice” while also valuing the opinions of others.
