Rob Mueller-Owens, the acting principal of Whitehorse Middle School, allegedly attacked an 11-year-old student ripping of three of her braids in Madison, Wisconsin.

As Madison 365 reported, the man works as a positive behavior support coach at the school, which makes the incident somehow ironic. It all started when the girl and a classmate sprayed too much perfume while on class, so their teacher became upset.

The discussion escalated quickly, and the teacher called Mueller-Owens to take care of the situation. The man called the girl out and, once there, he supposedly fell on top of the girl while trying to discipline her, according to Pastor Marcus Allen, who saw the surveillance video that recorded the incident.

THE ALTERCATION

Allen added that Mueller-Owens “shoved the girl out of the classroom and into a row of lockers” soon before tumbling onto her. Even though he stayed on top of the girl for about “10 to 15 seconds,” Allen confessed he didn’t know how the lady’s braids were pulled out.

Mikiea Price, the mother of the victim, filed an incident reported with police and admitted to feeling devastated and disgusted. She added that schools were supposed to be places where parents sent their children to feel safe, but the incident made her feel the opposite.

THE MOTHER’S THOUGHTS

“You know I send my kid to school to learn, and that’s a place where mothers send their kids to be comfortable in. I just feel violated in so many ways that … this even happened to her,” revealed Price.

On February 13, when the incident happened, Price went to pick her daughter up at school and found her crying and holding three braids in her hand. Photos revealed that the girl had three bald spots close to the back of the neck. At the moment, the Madison Police Department is working on the case to get as many information and details as possible. In the meantime, Mueller-Owens was placed on leave.

A SIMILAR PROBLEM

Unfortunately, it is not the first time that such a thing happens in a school. Four security officers of the Hazelton Area High School in Pennsylvania violently detained a Black female student in the cafeteria.

Her classmates were shocked, but some of them recorded the incident, and others kept asking the officers what was happening and why they were treating the victim in such a way.
