Scottie Pippen’s daughter, Sophia Pippen has his back. This is the vibe we’re getting seeing the 9-year-old’s recent post.

In the father-daughter-pic Sophia shared on her Instagram, she sits next to Scottie who’s leaning forward. She lays one arm on his back and takes the camera with her other hand to commemorate the moment.

Both appeared to be sitting on the sidelines of a basketball game. Sophia chose the occasion to show her affection for her father by sharing their selfie and captioning it, “Me and my dad” with a heart emoji.

The beautiful youngster whose mother is Scottie’s ex-wife Larsa Pippen is not new to the public eye. She made headlines last year when she was cast as a contender in “Dancing with the Stars: Junior.” She’ll be partnered with professional junior ballroom dancer Jake Monreal under the mentorship of show favorite, Sasha Farber.

Sophia is expected to compete with other celebrity children including Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, Maddie Ziegler’s younger sister Mackenzie Ziegler and Sarah Palin’s grandson, Tripp Palin.

Just by signing on the show, Sophia is also assured of a $50,000 paycheck, not bad for a young girl who also has a modeling career. Signed under Wilhelmina Kids and Teri B. Talent, she boasts of stints with Oscar De La Renta Kids, Aliva Simone, and KidPik.

Sophia is undoubtedly making a name for herself. But nothing could take her to greater heights more than her connection with the Kardashians. According to reports, upon signing on “DWTS,” her contract has a clause that allows her to appear on only one show during the duration of the competition. That show is “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”

The Pippens are close family friends of the famous reality clan and Sophia often refers to Kim Kardashian as her godmother. Larsa is close to Kim and they’re often labeled BFFs. In fact, Larsa was reportedly the first person who informed the Kardashians about the cheating scandal involving Jordyn Woods and Tristan Thompson. She called Kim after a writer alerted her with the news.

That scandal rocked the Kardashian world and has now caused Jordyn to be excluded from the family, possibly for good. She’s scheduled to break her silence this weekend in an interview on Jada Pinkett Smith’s show.
