CNN' Contributor Ana Navarro Marries Republican Lobbyist Al Cardenas in Romantic Miami Ceremony

CNN commentator Ana Navarro just got hitched and the wedding pictures she shared are magical.

In a series of photos, Navarro, 47, posted the scene from her wedding on Saturday to Republican lobbyist Al Cardenas. The post is found below.

Set in Miami, a group of 250 guests gathered at the Tony Indian Creek Country Club for the special event. It comes just five months after Navarro announced her engagement.

In October 2018, the political commentator shared a mouth-watering photo of a large engagement ring to her Instagram. At the time, she didn't say who the lucky guy was.

On Saturday, the whole world got a look at Cardenas in his traditional black tux and Navarro in her white Luis Escudero dress, tiara, and long veil. Cardenas is 24 years his new wife's senior.

The caption read:

"About last night... If [you] want to see more, go to @peopleenespanol #navarrocardenasatlast"

At 71, the Republican campaign strategist looked smashing as he stood on a private island just off Miami Beach. The guests included big names like Senator Mitt Romney, Representative Donna Shalala, Gloria Estefan, and Eva Longoria.

Also present were Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin from "The View," Jeff Zucker, Wolf Blitzer, Anderson Cooper, and Don Lemon from CNN, and Gio Benitez from ABC News. South Beach Wine & Food Festival's founder Lee Schrager was the best man.

Hostin shared a clip of the event and revealed that the guests partied hard. She also thanked the newlyweds. PEOPLE's Spanish magazine, which Navarro directed her fans to, also shared videos of the special night.

Navarro couldn't wait to announce the ceremony to fans in a tweet earlier that day which read:

"We're getting married today! I'm in no-politics zone. If something big happens, pls send messenger pigeon. Excited. Nervous. Humbled by the love & support and friends who've traveled far & wide to be here. Worried I won't be able to breathe in the dress."

Her husband retweeted the sentiments and added his own: "I echo everything that my sweetheart says & feels. 2 hrs and counting...... @ananavarro At Last..."

The couple are longtime Bush supporters who rallied for Jeb Bush during the 2016 presidential elections. Currently, they are both anti-Trump despite being members of the same party.

Navarro got attention for filing her nails during a live political debate on CNN in January 2019. She was speaking with GOP commentator Steve Cortes regarding the border wall controversy at the time.

As Cortes discussed remarks made by Donald Trump Jr who had called the wall a zoo fence, Navarro whipped out her nail file. She made it clear that she didn't care to talk about "an entitled, rich, spoiled little brat."
