Nene Leakes Gets Slammed for Using Too Much Photoshop in Recent Selfie

As NeNe Leakes promotes her new boutique, fans accuse her of heavy Photoshopping and slam her for her altered appearance in a photo she recently shared.

A photo of NeNe Leakes promoting her new boutique is gaining more attention than she probably expected.

Last week, NeNe proudly announced the upcoming opening of her latest Swagg Boutique at the MGM Grand Casino in Maryland. The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star shared a photo of herself to usher in the news along with the caption,

“I’m just all about my Swagg! Coming soon to the MGM Grand Casino in the DMV.”

Fans jumped in to express their support congratulating her for the new addition to her growing chain of stores. She already has shops in Duluth, Miami, and Georgia.

However, fans also took closer notice of her photo and commented on her heavy filtering.

“Photoshop fail on the face love,” one wrote. Another added,

“Too much filtering and photoshopping going on. You re more gorgeous as your natural self.”

A third commenter echoed the sentiment and wrote,

“So much Facetune you don’t even look like human anymore.”

This is not the first time NeNe was accused of excessive manipulation of her photos. In 2016, a meticulous follower detailed the extent to which she seemed to alter her nose’s appearance in a bikini photo she shared.

Meanwhile, there’s no sign today that NeNe bothered to comment on the latest accusations against her. She’s probably too busy attending to her store’s opening as well as taking care of her husband, Gregg Leakes.

Gregg was diagnosed with cancer a while back. It’s possible he’s almost out of the woods as NeNe recently hinted at good news Gregg was soon to share. She said this in a post where she also denied rumors they split up.

Fans suspected NeNe ditched her husband while he was ill when an episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” saw her admitting she and Gregg discussed separating. The topic came up when NeNe complained about her husband’s ill-treatment of her while she tended to him.

In her post denying the split, NeNe admitted it was tough being a caregiver to her husband but dismissed the idea that they were separated. She thanked him for his understanding as she struggled with taking care of him.
