NeNe Leakes Addresses Rumors She’s Separated from Husband Gregg Following 'RHOA' Episode

NeNe Leakes takes to her Instagram to settle the real score between her and her husband Gregg Leakes. The "RHOA" star previously revealed in an episode of her show that she was considering leaving Gregg.

In the wake of a recent episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” where NeNe Leakes opened up about her struggle with her husband's cancer, the star took to Instagram to correct a misconception.

During the episode taped at Eva Marcille’s wedding, NeNe confided in Cynthia Bailey about a conversation she had with her husband, Gregg Leakes. She told Cynthia they “talked about separating,” an idea that came up after NeNe became the object of Gregg’s frustration due to his illness. Gregg would talk to her in a disrespectful way and NeNe didn’t want it to go on.

This was also NeNe’s sentiments when a few months back she called out her husband for being mean to her. She vented out her frustration on Instagram. Gregg addressed this with what appeared to be an admission of guilt and a promise to ease up on his wife who had “done NO wrong,” “ALL on me,” he said and added, “Cancer WILL change your life.”

Soon after Eva’s wedding episode aired, fans speculated that the Leakes had separated, a rumor NeNe quickly shut down on social media.

She admitted in her post that it was tough being a caregiver to Gregg but denied they ever separated.

“Oh Lawd! They say we separated now @greggleakes #fakenews,” she wrote, addressing her message to her husband. Then she thanked him for understanding her throughout their ordeal.

“I appreciate you tho Gregg for accepting and understanding that being a care taker is something I’ve never done and i have truly done the best i know how all while making tons of mistakes along the way.”

“You never asked to get sick and We were both thrown into these new positions over nite but whew chile you have kicked cancers ass!,” she added.

At the end of her message, she hinted at good news which they intend to share to their fans soon.

“I can’t wait for u to share with the world your exciting news in a couple of weeks.”

Our guess is, Gregg has beaten his illness and is on his way to a successful recovery.

NeNe has always been very vocal about their struggle with the big C. But she always stressed they would fight Gregg’s disease together. Now that their horizon appears to be brighter, it’s a good thing they never pushed through with the separation.
