Jennifer Lopez Jokes about Getting Married Again but Admits to Being ‘Very Weary’

In a recent interview with Sirius XM Radio, J-Lo was on the receiving end of her joke as she opened up about her married life. See the video below.

The "Second Act" star had a chat with Sirius XM Radio on Wednesday, the 3rd of Aprill; it was all about her experience with marriage. Lopez has been dating former baseball star, Alex Rodriguez for over two years and it's all been smooth ever since. The couple decided to take things to the next level during a romantic vacation in March; he finally popped the question, and she said "Yes."

While chatting with Sirius XM, Jennifer was asked when she knew A-Rod was "the one;" she simply cracked up saying “[You mean] to get married again?” The audience couldn't help but burst out in laughter.

“I was very weary after everything I’ve been through,” she explained of her previous relationships with exes Ojani Noa, Cris Judd, and Marc Anthony. “I don’t know. Probably about a year in, you know, I was just sussing it out until then.”

“I don’t know, ‘maybe yes, maybe no. I love him, I like him,'” JLo then continued of the several months she took to determine if she was serious about the athlete. “Everything just seemed too perfect too soon.”

Even though the star didn't know A-Rod planned to put a ring on her finger during their last vacation, she was ready to try walking down the aisle again. A source further revealed to US Weekly that the lovely couple has talked about marriage and always planned to spend the rest of their lives together.

"but they were so happy with exactly how things were, they weren’t sure if they wanted to go down that road. It’s almost like they didn’t want to jinx it. Marriage is something that became important to both of them and their kids” the source said.

It's been a long and beautiful ride for J-Lo and A-Rod, from their first meeting at a New York Yankees baseball game when Lopez was still married to Marc Anthony almost 14 years ago to their initial attempt at romance 12 years later till being engaged now; it sure looks like it's gonna work out perfectly well this time. Fingers crossed.
