“Today’s” show co-host, Hoda Kobt is overwhelmed and touched with all the messages she received after she announced her new baby’s arrival. She used her Instagram as an avenue to connect and thank those who have shown her love the past days.
“I am reading all of your beautiful messages. I am overwhelmed with your kindness… thank you for the love you have shown us… it means so much,” she wrote
The post came with a photo of Kotb, holding her baby, while her two-year-old and new big sister, Haley Joy, was smiling while leaning towards the couch.
Co-hosts of the show, Savannah Guthrie and Jenna Bush Hager couldn’t contain their eagerness to meet Hope, and so they visited Kotb in her home after taping. Hager posted a photo of their visit calling the moment the “best day ever.”
Ex-host of “Today,” Kathie Lee Gifford also congratulated Kotb on “The Five,” saying she was thrilled about the baby and knew it was bound to happen.
Kotb made the announcement over a phone call during the show last Tuesday, introducing her new daughter, Hope Catherine, to everyone. She shared her happiness, with tears in her eyes, as she couldn't believe that she had a new baby, but the reality has made her “so happy.”
The outlet quickly shared a photo of the host and her two children on Twitter, sharing the great news with the rest of the world. The same photo was also shared on their Instagram, where they extended their congratulations to Kotb.
The co-host is currently on a break from the show as she has to fulfill her duties as a mom, taking care of her newborn daughter.
