Al Roker finally met Hoda Kotb's new daughter, and the experience was so profound, that he can't stop smiling. If there's one thing evident about the cast and crew of the "Today" show, it's that they love each other and are one big happy family.

In a display of affection, Al Roker, a host of the show, visited his co-host, Hoda Kotb, who recently welcomed a new daughter—Hope Catherine—through adoption. Uncle Al—as he's fondly called—posted pictures of his visit on Instagram.

In the first photo, he is seen holding the newborn, standing amid Kotb and her mother, Sami; the trio wore a huge smile. In the next photo, the baby is still in the arms of the host, but this time, the new mother and her first daughter, Haley Joy, stood behind him, looking happy.

In the last one, he performs uncle duty by reading a children's book to big sister, Haley. As adorable as these pictures looked, it's the caption that accompanied it that melted hearts. The 64-year-old wrote that he was delighted to have spent time with the family, and their latest addition is the reason why he can't stop smiling.

Hope Catherine's ability to make people smile is infectious and going around the "Today" family. Before Roker's visit, fellow hosts—Jenna Bush Hager and Savannah Guthrie—visited Kotb. Hager could not contain her excitement after meeting the baby, and on last Wednesday's "Fourth Hour" segment, she described Hope Catherine as the "Cutest thing" she has ever seen.

The 37-year-old also noted the bond between the newborn and her sister, adding that the 2-year-old is in awe of the baby. Guthrie on her part referred to meeting the baby as "Holding on to dear Hope."

The 47-year-old wrote alongside an Instagram post that the joy and gratitude Kotb feels, makes her heart sing. Amid this outpour of love, the new mother's close friend and ex-host of "Today," Kathie Lee Gifford, is happy that Kotb got to be a mum again.

Although the 64-year-old is yet to visit, she told "Fox News - The Five" that she wishes the family of four all the happiness in the world. Kotb broke the news of the adoption to her "Today" family via a telephone conversation last Tuesday.

The mother-of-two said she didn't know she still had love to give until she met her new daughter, and describes Hope Catherine as the answer to her prayers.
