Blood, Sweat and Heels’ Star Daisy Lewellyn Tragically Passed Away at Only 36 from Rare Cancer
Actress Daisy Lewellyn of "Blood, Sweat, and Heels" passed away at the age of 36-years-old to a rare cancer that most people have not even heard of.
Daisy passed away due to bile duct cancer, which is a type of cancer that usually affects older adults who are 65-years-old and above. Bile ducts are the small tubes that connect the liver to the small intestine, which allows fluid called bile to flow through the abdomen for better digestion.
Sadly, the illness took over the young actress' life, which shocked and saddened her closest family and friends, along with her fans.
Lewellyn was not only known as a TV personality and actress but also a style expert who was known for her spunky clothing style. She also worked at famous magazines such as InStyle, Glamour, and Essence, where she served as Accessories Editor from 2006 to 2007.
In 2010, she also published her first book called "Never Pay Retail Again: Shop Smart, Spend Less & Look Your Best Ever." She also co-founded DREAM NYC, a mentorship program for teenage girls.
While she has achieved so much in her life, she was also known for her role in "Blood, Sweat and Heels."
Truly, she lived a remarkable life, and it was tragic to hear of her passing, especially since such an intelligent girl had so much passion and so much talent to give to the rest of the world.
Daisy may have succumbed to her sickness on April 8, 2016, but she will always be remembered as The Queen of Effortlessly Chic.
