Oprah's Partner Has a Stepdaughter Who Suffered a Heart-Wrenching Tragedy

Oprah Winfrey and Stedman Graham have been together since 1986, and that made people oblivious to the fact that Stedman actually has an adult daughter named Wendy Graham with his ex-wife Glenda.

Prior to marrying Oprah, he was married to a woman named Glenda for a short while. Their only daughter, Wendy, was born the year after they got married. While she lived a low-key life out of the spotlight, it was discovered that Wendy actually had to go through something very traumatic.

In 2002, she was on vacation in the Virgin Islands with her fiance Sherman Galbreath when things took an unexpected turn. Her fiance was not a swimmer, and so she was hoping to teach him how to swim. While there isn't a lot of news available detailing what exactly had happened, it was revealed that he drowned while trying to swim.

Of course, at that very moment, Stedman arrived in the Virgin Islands by jet to console her daughter from the tragedy. While it was such a heartbreaking experience for her, she was able to find love once again. She married Bradley Kerwin Greene in March 2015, shocking many because of their age difference. They got married when Wendy was 40, and Bradley was 27.

Just three months into their wedding, Wendy and Bradley welcomed a baby girl into their life named Cadence, making Stedman and Oprah grandparents.

Life Away from Hollywood

Although her stepmother is one of the most successful philanthropists of all time, Wendy continues to work for her family. While her husband is an engineer from Trinidad, she reportedly works for Stedman's Marketing and Management firm. Prior to this, she worked for Oprah's Harpo Productions.

She lives a simple life in Chicago with the rest of her family while keeping in close touch with her father and stepmother.
