Tennis Pro Sloane Stephens & Soccer Player Jozy Altidore Are Engaged
Sloane Stephens says yes to forever as she seals her engagement to fellow athlete Jozy Altidore. The tennis star showed off her enormous engagement ring reportedly worth $2 million in a photo she shared announcing the news.
Tennis champ Sloane Stephens just announced a major win in her love life. She’s engaged to her athlete boyfriend and childhood friend, Jozy Altidore.
In a sweet Instagram post, Sloane flaunted her giant sparkler as she happily leaned on her fiancé in the pic she shared. The photo from their engagement shoot was accompanied by the caption, “Forever yes.”
Matching her happiness, Jozy likewise wrote, “Forever starts now” as he shared another pic from their shoot. It’s evident from their social media presence that they’re both excited to be husband and wife.

Sloane's engagement ring is reportedly worth a fortune according to jewelry designer Jen Hansen. She told Daily Mail the "stunning" ring "could be easily worth $2 million."
MAKING THEIR RELATIONSHIP WORK DESPITE THE ODDS
The 26-year-old tennis superstar began dating the 29-year-old Toronto FC and United States national soccer team player in 2016 despite being friends since childhood growing up in Florida. Their common passion for sports bonds them though Sloane admitted to Madame Noire last year that the demands of their careers make dating each other difficult. However, due to their mutual support for each other, they’ve managed to nurture their relationship.
With their busy schedules traveling around the world due to their sports commitments, they each find time to cheer for the other. Jozy had all praises for Sloane when she won the US Open in 2017 after coming back from an injury.
ON THEIR NATURAL CONNECTION
Jozy opened up to USA Today in 2017 about his natural connection with Sloane.
"She is somebody who gets everything I am going through without having to say anything,” he said. He adds that they’re both aware when one of them is annoyed and Sloane can relate to his moods.
“She just kind of gets the mood I'm in, as obviously she lives a very similar kind of life.”
A RELATIONSHIP BASED ON MUTUAL SUPPORT
