Michael Landon was one of the most sought-after actors on television. He worked on series such as "Bonanza" and "Little House on the Prairie."

Michael Landon managed to achieve success despite his hard childhood. The actor was married three times and had nine children, some of whom were adopted.

Michael's younger children – Cindy, Sean, and Jennifer – now of legal age, have commented anecdotes about their father and their favorite memories.

Currently, each of them is making their own life, Jennifer as an actress and Sean in real estate development. Both admitted that growing up without a father was quite difficult.

Sean and Jennifer stay connected to their father in a very peculiar way. Both are ambassadors of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, to raise awareness about the disease that ended their father's life.

They said that the fight against pancreatic cancer will always be important to them. Cheryl wrote the book hoping her father's story would inspire many, just as it was for her family and friends.

According to his daughter, the Landon knew how to turn their problems into challenges and never gave up without a fight.

Cheryl will always remember her father for his incredible power to love, and he wants his story to help all people find the same strength as him.

The charismatic Michael died at 54 due to pancreatic cancer but will always remain in our memories for his famous characters.

Christopher Landon, one of Michael's sons, is a film writer known for the "Paranormal Activity" movies. As an openly gay man, he has been living his life next to husband Cody Morris and their son, Beau Landon Morris.

As a filmmaker, Christopher has been very successful in the entertainment industry, just as his late father. He made his directorial debut with "Burning Palms," a satirical thriller that premiered in 2010.
