Mark Consuelos Shared His Feelings about Late Luke Perry Almost 2 Months after His Death

Luke Perry's demise dealt a sharp blow to the movie industry. Months after and he still has his colleague, Mark Consuelos telling of how he was of a significant impact on his life.

Till his death, Perry starred alongside Mark Consuelos in the American drama series, “Riverdale.” With the teen drama continuing to rise to fame as it progressed, Perry's demise came so shockingly to his fans and co-workers.

Many have held nothing back as they commemorate his untimely death by speaking lovingly of the widely acclaimed actor. Consuelos, who plays Hiram Lodge in “Riverdale,” was recently in an interview with Esquire where he gave detailed information about his personal life and career.

He especially talked about how the entire “Riverdale” cast has had to deal with Perry’s passing. The 48-year-old held nothing back as he attested to how “great” the late actor was. Consuelos:

“All the great things you've heard about Luke? They're all true."

The father of three, who met Perry even before getting on “Riverdale,” went on to describe Perry’s generosity and how he always found him so inspiring. He said:

“One thing about Luke that always struck me was the way he talked about his life. He had so many good stories, and he saw them as chapters in his life. He recalled them with such fondness, even if it was a shitty time. He always found the wit and humor in these crazy situations. He always found the beauty in it. I knew him for such a short time, and he had such an impact on me, and everyone around him. I feel grateful that maybe I was a passage, a page or two, in a chapter of his life.”

Perry portrayed the role of Fred Andrews on the popular CW series and his last appearance on the show is in a scene where he comforted his TV son, Archie Andrews after the authorities charged him with a crime.

While speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the co-producer, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa disclosed that it has been difficult for the entire cast to come to terms with the unexpected loss.

He honestly explained that it is quite hard to process and that they are still brainstorming on the perfect way to honor his memory. Although sad, it is very heartwarming to hear what a great man Perry was before his death. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
