Alfonso Ribeiro Says He May Leave Steve Harvey’s Studio ‘Any Second’ as Baby No 4 Is Coming to World

Alfonso Ribeiro warned Steve Harvey that he might have to leave in the middle of the interview to attend his pregnant wife.

Steve Harvey had an anxious interview with "Fresh Prince" alum Alfonso Ribeiro on May 8, 2019.

The actor had warned the talk show host that he might have to rush out at any moment for a very special reason.

“My publicist will be trying to run out here and grab me because any second now, my fourth child might be entering the world.”

The reason Ribeiro was ready to dash at on a moment's notice is that his wife Angela is on the verge of giving birth to the actor's fourth child.

Angela and Ribeiro share two sons, Anders, 4, and Alfonso, 6; and the actor has a daughter Sienna Ribeiro, 16, from his previous marriage to Robin Stapler.

Ribeiro hinted with a teasing grin that a "Fresh Prince" a spin-off might be in the works.

Naturally, the conversation veered towards fatherhood, and Ribeiro confessed to Harvey that he wished that he's dedicated more time to his family in his younger days.

“We all get so focused in our lives trying to achieve everything that we want to achieve in the world that we forget why - It’s to enjoy the time with your family and the things that you want to do. So I would put more emphasis on being there just even more,” Ribeiro said.

Harvey broached the subject fans have been speculating about. He asked Ribeiro if there was a possibility of a "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" reboot, especially since there has been a slew of 90s comedy revivals.

Ribeiro revealed that the main impediment to the show's reboot was the passing in 2013 of James Avery, who played Uncle Phil.

“I believe that once James Avery passed away, the core of what the show is, went away with him. He is the foundation of that show,” Ribeiro explained.

Another impediment is Will Smith's busy work schedule, and his hefty salary needs. But, Ribeiro hinted with a teasing grin that a "Fresh Prince" a spin-off might be in the works.

Alfonso Ribeiro and his wife Angela found a unique and adorable way to announce that they were expecting their third child together, and the actor's fourth.

They posted a photo of Angela with their two sons, Alfonso and Anders, and all three are sporting baby bumps.

Baby Ribeiro is due any day now, and we can't wait to meet him, or her.
