Charlamagne Tha God reportedly gifts Lauren London with custom Nipsey Hussle pendant

In memory of Nipsey Hussle, Charlamagne Tha God had a special pendant made and gave it to the late rapper’s girlfriend, Lauren London.

The death of Nipsey Hussle was a big blow to the music industry and especially to the 33-year-old’s girlfriend, Lauren London. And to help ease her pain, Charlemagne Tha God thought of something special to give her to keep her boyfriend’s memory alive.

The host of the radio show, “The Breakfast Club” hired famed jewelry designer Greg Yuna to create a stunning pendant with Hussle’s face on it. The art piece made of gold was based on a photo of the late rapper and required hours of tedious work to complete.

"We cast it in gold and laser in the tattoos and do the finishing touches including the hand-selected full cut diamond in his ear.”

On his Instagram, Yuna shared footage revealing how the pendant was intricately made to achieve its intended end result.

“I had to find the best picture of him that I thought would be most suitable and iconic,” he explained to Hyperbeast. “Then we make a cad and spend tedious endless hours on the computer trying to get as much detail as possible in so we can print it on a state of the art 3D printing machine. Finally, we cast it in gold and laser in the tattoos and do the finishing touches including the hand-selected full cut diamond in his ear.”

The pendant represents Nipsey’s roots and carries the meaning of his real name, Ermias Asghedom. Ermias means “God will rise,” the inscription written at the back.

Nipsey tragically died from several gunshot wounds he obtained while he was standing outside his clothing store in Los Angeles. He reportedly had a previous altercation with his alleged shooter who is now in police custody held with a $5 million bail.

Lauren, his longtime partner and mother of their two-year-old son Kross, expressed her grief on her Instagram. She spoke of how “completely lost” she was without the “The Marathon” star.

With Charlamagne’s gift to her, we’re hoping a little of her pain is eased as she keeps Nipsey’s memory close to her heart.
