Kody Brown of 'Sister Wives' Caught on Camera Leaving a Gym without His Wedding Ring
On Saturday, reality television star Kody Brown was pictured leaving the gym without his wedding ring on his finger. The star appeared to have no care in the world as he danced around and did stretches in the parking lot.
One would swear Kody Brown, 50, was a single man from the way he behaves. His recent visit to the gym in his new hometown of Flagstaff, Arizona, revealed that he hadn’t bothered to wear his wedding band.
The “Sister Wives” patriarch is married to four wives namely: Meri, 48, Janelle, 50, Christine, 47, and Robyn, 40. It’s believed he might’ve left the ring at one of their homes.
According to a witness, Kody was his usual social self at the gym during his two-hour session. The eyewitness said: “He drove up in a little blue sports car. He has a twinkle in his eye and a certain charm, I'm sure some of the ladies at the place were checking him out.”
The insider shared:
“You'd never know that he had four wives and 18 children at home. It seems like his wives would want him to wear it, especially at a place where there are plenty of attractive single women hanging out.”
The reality star was even pictured doing a little dance in the parking lot and stretching from side to side. At one point he appeared to be attempting a one-foot balance.
The witness added: “He pranced around and looked to see if anyone was watching, he's a bit of an entertainer.” Kody’s reality show on TLC just completed its 13th season.
The source shared: “Kody looked so happy go lucky, but you know behind the scenes he has to have a lot of stress with all those people depending on him.” “Sister Wives” follows the Brown family as they navigate living normal lives despite being in a polygamous marriage.
Last summer the Brown’s moved from Las Vegas to their new home. In 2011, the family was forced to leave their home in Lehi, Utah shortly after their show premiered.
At the time, the state was threatening to prosecute them for their open polygamist lifestyle. Kody's first wife, Meri, once revealed that she’d moved over two dozen times in their almost thirty years together.
The family is also currently struggling financially since moving to Arizona. Last June on the first, Kody put a 10 percent down payment on an $820,000 piece of undeveloped property on the outskirts of Flagstaff.
The family hopes to build four separate homes on the land so they could live together but separately.
Reports state that the Browns are in trouble with the Coconino County Treasurer’s Office over their failure to pay taxes on the land on which their family lives. It’s alleged that the family has failed to pay taxes of more than $2,063 last year.
With interest the amount has risen to more than $2,146. In addition, the land owned by Kody, Janelle, and Meri owes $1,990 with an interest of $79.63.
