In the 13th season of Sister Wives, the fans have been a bit confused. The patriarch of the Brown family, Kody Brown doesn’t seem to have everything under control. The four wives Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, Christine Brown and Robyn Brown are not having the best time either.

It seems that Christine and Kody put aside their disagreements to attend the graduation of their daughter Aspyn Brown. In her official account, Christine published a photo where she appears smiling with her daughter Aspyn and Kody, expressing how proud she is for her success.

In her Instagram account, Aspyn shared photos with several of her brothers and others of her father's wives. The absence of Robyn at the graduation ceremony is striking. During recent weeks there have been rumors in the press that Kody spends more time with Robyn than with the other wives.

The Brown family has had to move again now from Las Vegas, Nevada to Flagstaff, Arizona because of problems in publicizing their polygamous lifestyle. They had already had to move from Utah in 2011 when the first season of the show went on air.

A Utah state prosecutor had threatened to prosecute Kody legally for her polygamy because in that state it is prohibited not only the polygamous marriage but also cohabiting together.

Throughout the 13 seasons of the show, fans have been able to accompany Kody Brown in the challenge of moving forward the four marriages and eighteen children, the ups and downs in their relationships, the divorce with Meri and their legal marriage with Robyn to legally adopt her three children from a previous marriage.

Three of Kody’s wives, Meri, Robyn, and Christine were raised in polygamous families, but Jeanelle didn’t. Kody's only legal marriage was with Meri until her legal divorce in September 2014, and she is now legally married to Robyn since December 2014.

The other marriages are considered spiritual marriages. For years before the series aired, the family lived its polygamous style almost secretly.

How the outcome of this complicated family will be now that rumors indicate that Kody has turned Robyn's house into his base of operations and spends less time with the other wives, or what happens with his relationship with Meri that seems to be stuck in limbo, are questions that fans have about this complex family that challenges everything to live their way.
