Mama June Is Publicly Asked to 'Love Herself' after a Dramatic Intervention with Her Daughter
A fan tweeted to Mama June pointing out her mistakes and asking her to “love yourself” because “people like myself that watch the show love you.”
The Shannon family’s matriarch recently tweeted about her daughter, Alana’s appearance on “Dancing With the Stars,” but was probably caught off guard with one fan’s reply to her tweet, calling her out and advising her to show self-love.
“You continuously fail your daughters. You’ve had relationships with the worst of the worst. You should learn to love yourself mama June all the people like myself that watch the show love you,” read the tweet.
This was not the first incident of a fan tweeting to Shannon and calling her out for decisions. In March, one Twitter user told the controversial mom to “get some help” and to ditch her then-boyfriend, Geno, who seems to be behind all the troubles.
A few months back, Shannon was arrested at a gas station along with her boyfriend Geno Doak, who allegedly threatened to kill Shannon. The police, after searching their bags, found crack and a crack pipe in Shannon’s possession.
The 39-year-old reality star never addressed her arrest on social media and simply returned on Twitter to promote the premiere of “Mama June: From Not to Hot’s” third season.
“Sorry I’m so late tweeting the show but don’t forget to watch the most outrageous moments right now. Let’s get ready to start the season off good,” she wrote.
However, Shannon’s daughter released her own statement regarding the arrest explaining that their family “is going through a rough patch” and included the reason as to why they share their family’s experiences.
“We’re sharing our story in hopes that it helps another family and I sincerely want to thank our fans for always being there and loving and supporting us,” she said.
