Miranda Lambert Shares a Picture of Husband Brendan McLoughlin with Cute Puppies
Country Singer Miranda Lambert shared a rare picture of her NYPD husband, Brendan McLoughlin, holding two adorable puppies, months after the two tied the knot at a secret wedding.
After a failed marriage with singer Blake Shelton, and a secret whirlwind romance afterwards, Lambert decided to marry again. However, this time, she has decided to keep things much more private with her NYPD boo.
Lambert shared photos of herself, her husband, and two rescued puppies on Instagram, intending to find the little cuties a new home. In one of the pictures, her handsome husband can be seen holding the little creatures in both hands. Although the 35-year-old runs a rescue home (Mutt Motel), she has to find the puppies a new home as it is already filled up.
She captioned the series of photos thus:
“Meet Smoke and Bandit! They showed up at the farm last week, and we’re bringing them to #CMAFest to get adopted. No vacancy in our Mutt Motel! #FarmLife”
The 35-year-old also urged her fans to indulge in adopting more puppies through her foundation, MuttNation.
The singer's love for animals is no secret as she keeps different animals such as horses, mini horses, cats, and dogs on her farm. This love for animals is shared with her husband, and the couple splits their time between Tennessee and New York where Brendan works with the police department as an officer.
To celebrate Valentine's day this year, Lambert shared the news of her marriage on Instagram, revealing to her fans that she met the love of her life and got "hitched."
The lovebird said:
“My heart is full. Thank you Brendan McLoughlin for loving me for…. me.”
The couple met in New York City late last year when Miranda and her band, "Pistol Annie's" performed on "Good Morning America." Luckily for the lovebirds, McLoughlin was assigned to the South Midtown Precinct which includes Times Square where Lambert's show was taking place.
Four months after the secret wedding, the couple were spotted out and about dressed casually as they left their Manhattan apartment. The country star donned black leggings, denim jacket, and bright pink hat while the NYPD police officer was in a light pink T-shirt and jeans. Although they are still young, the couple is definitely "relationship goals."
