Lamar Odom Admits He Once Threatened to Kill Khloé Kardashian

Lamar Odom admits that he once threatened to kill his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian during their marriage. The ex-NBA star shared more about the incident in his new memoir, "Darkness to Light."

Lamar Odom's seven-year marriage to Khloe Kardashian ended up in the dumpster, as they've had a fair share of ups and downs. However, one horrible moment that may have triggered their marriage's ultimate demise, it was his addiction to drugs.

At one point, the 39-year-old admits threatening to kill Khloe while he was high on cocaine and ecstasy after she called his friends for help when he started hallucinating in his "man cave."

The Traumatic Incident

When Khloe knocked on his door to check on him, he grabbed her by the shoulders and screamed at her, saying:

"What the [expletive] are you doing? You trying to embarrass me in front of my friends? I'll [expletive] kill you! You don't know what I'm capable of!"

That was when the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star ran upstairs and slammed the door behind her, making it difficult for him to ask for forgiveness.

“I was embarrassed and ashamed. It was a new low for our relationship and my life … the most regrettable moment in a series of regrettable moments.”

While Khloe seems to have moved on entirely from what happened, it seems Lamar still hopes he could somehow be a part of his ex's life.

After hearing the news about Tristan Thompson cheating on Khloe, Lamar allegedly expressed his concern. Lamar reportedly hates that Kardashian is hurting again.

Lamar's Love for Khloe

Lamar Odom has always had a soft spot for his ex-wife, and this time is no different. Sources have told People that through the years, Lamar has always cared for Khloe, and still loves her until today.

This love for her is quite clear, as a chunk of his memoir is about his relationship with Khloe. According to sources from People, Lamar has always and will always care about Khloe.

"Lamar has always cared about Khloé, he still has love for her and he hates that she’s been hurt again. He has a lot of regret over how he acted in their marriage. And he feels awful that she is going through more pain. He wants to reach out to her and give her his love and support.”

However, it seems the trauma brought about by their relationship has been way too much for Khloe, and that's made it difficult for her to let Lamar into her life again.
