Watch Tracy Morgan Go off on Woman Who Allegedly Sideswiped His New $2M Bugatti
Tracy Morgan got involved in a car crash on Tuesday afternoon. Luckily no one was injured, but his $2 million Bugatti car, which was fresh out of the lot, suffered some damage. In a fit of rage, Morgan was caught on video yelling at the other driver, who was a woman in her ‘60s.
Almost five years after Tracy Morgan lost a friend and nearly died himself after a Walmart truck slammed into his limousine, the comedian was involved in another car crash. No one was injured, except for Tracy’s brand-new ride.
THE COLLISION AND TRACY'S REACTION
The accident took place at 42nd Street and 10th Avenue in New York, barely one hour after Morgan bought a $2 million 2012 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport at Manhattan Motorcars.
According to witnesses and police reports, a woman in a late-model Honda CRV tried to take a last-minute right turn and ended up slamming into the Bugatti’s driver’s side.
Morgan was understandably enraged and was captured on video slamming his hand on the passenger’s window of the Honda while yelling to the driver to “get out of the car!”
He then climbed over the center console of his car to exit through the passenger’s side, and can be seen mortifying claiming at passersby: “Just bought it.”
THE OTHER DRIVER SPEAKS UP
The woman, identified as 61-year-old Jocelyn Madulid, from her Jersey City, told Page Six that she didn’t have any idea who Morgan was when the accident happened.
“I was just curious. The people were taking pictures of him and the car,” said Madulid, whose car suffered minor damages. “I asked the traffic officer, why people taking pictures and he said, ‘You don’t watch TV? That’s a famous guy,’” she added.
Then a double-decker tourist bus passed by and the tourist guide claimed: “Oh, that’s Tracy Morgan!’” Madulid said.
The woman stated she was scared when Morgan started hitting on her window. “I was driving. I heard somebody hit me. I felt boom,” she said. “I didn’t yell anything back. I just stayed in my car.”
Madulid said she was on her way to work when the crash happened. She’s also worried about her insurance bill after realizing Morgan’s car is worth millions.
However, she claims the accident was his fault.
“We are both turning right — people are still crossing,” she recalled. “So what happened is we’re both turning right. But I know he hit me because I was already [turning]. I was there. He was the one who hit me!”
TRACY'S STATEMENT
Tracy allegedly complained of pain on his left side after the crash, but he took to Twitter hours later to assure fans he is okay, writing:
“Thanks for any concern but I am totally fine. My NEW CAR? We shall see. Love you all.”
According to Page Six, Madulid is not facing charges.
