Luke Bryan Looks Extremely Stylish Posing with Wife Caroline at the CMT Awards
On Wednesday night, the annual the CMT Music Awards were held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. Country singer Luke Bryan attended with his wife.
On the red carpet at the CMT Music Awards, Luke Bryan was pictured posing with his wife Caroline Bryan. The “American Idol” judge looked quite stylish in black and brown.
“I picked out the pink shoes."
He wore all-black and added a bit of color with his brown blazer. His wife complemented him and took most of the shine in a metallic mini-dress (excuse the pun).
The dress she wore cost $6K and she completed her look with a yellow clutch and pink heels. In a Twitter post, her husband took credit for choosing the shoes.
He captioned a picture of them posing together: “I picked out the pink shoes #CMTawards.” The singer was nominated for Male Video of the Year for “Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset” and Collaborative Video of the Year for “Straight To Hell.”
He paid tribute to his 2011CMT performance by singing his new song, "Knockin' Boots." During a podcast interview in February, Luke’s wife revealed how they met.
Caroline said:
“We met my first week of college, at a bar called Dingus, and we were just hanging out. It was a Thursday night. I was a freshman. It was my first time in a bar. I was so sheltered growing up in a very small town — Sandersville, the Kaolin Capital of the World — and I’d had the same boyfriend since 8th grade.”
She shared:
“We’d agreed to go our separate ways and just see what was out there. Luke’s personality was so big, I was staring at him like, ’Is this guy for real?’ He was the second guy I ever kissed in my life. Ever.”
The pair dated for a year-and-a-half but she chickened out when he started mentioning marriage. They went their separate ways for years and even though she dated other men “Luke was always the sweetest and the best.”
Fate brought them back together when Caroline ended up going to a show he was playing at. She hadn’t dressed up for the occasion and left early thinking he wanted to avoid her.
Later on in the a.m. hours, Luke called her brother's house where she answered and they’ve been together since. Other performers at the CMT Awards were Day + Shay, Brandi Carlile, Tanya Tucker; Brett Young, Boyz II Men, Thomas Rhett, Little Big Town, Trombone Shorty; Sheryl Crow, Maren Morris, Carrie Underwood, and many more.
For Wednesday’s episode of “Good Morning America”, Luke and Blake Shelton traveled to the latter’s hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma. There they attended the grand opening of Shelton’s new music venue The Doghouse.
The best friends interviewed each other with Luke revealing that his favorite song to sing in the shower was “The Star-Spangled Banner.” He shared he liked it because “you can never have enough practice singing ‘The Star Spangled Banner.’”
