BABY LOVE

Tamron shared the most adorable photo of her two-month-old son, Moses fashioning a t-shirt Gabrielle gifted him. The black tee had the words Shady Baby inscribed on it, a nod to the actress’ daughter, Kaavia James’ nickname.

Tamron thanked Kaavia on behalf of Moses for the wonderful gift and even joked that her son has an “innocent” crush on her. She wrote,

“Thank you @kaaviajames for the cool Shady Baby Tshirt #shadybaby. Tell mom @gabunion and dad @dwyanewade my crush is innocent. Baby love #mosesandmama #sonshine

"I was terrified I would lose this baby and I would have to go back and tell everyone that now it was bad news,

ON HER PREGNANCY AND THE SECRECY

Tamron welcomed Moses in April after keeping her pregnancy a secret until a month before she gave birth. At 32 weeks she revealed her pregnant belly for the first time when she was certain she was in a safe place.

“I saw all the gray: The faces looked gray, the walls were gray, nothing seemed shiny and optimistic.”

The former “Today” host told People her condition was high-risk due to her age and several other medical factors. The 48-year-old didn’t want to jump the gun by revealing her pregnancy only to share sad news if the baby didn’t make it.

"I was terrified I would lose this baby and I would have to go back and tell everyone that now it was bad news, and after this pregnancy had gone so far.”

Tamron had been trying to conceive since her 30s but failed to do so. By the time she reached her 40s and still hadn’t conceived, Tamera said she was beginning to lose hope.

“I saw all the gray: The faces looked gray, the walls were gray, nothing seemed shiny and optimistic.”

“I’m from the South, and there’s a saying: ‘It’s not a setback; it’s a setup for something else.”

ON SETBACKS AND SETUPS

But a setback in her career proved to be a blessing in disguise. When she was relieved from hosting “Today” in 2017, she felt like nothing was going her way. She was on a career low and nowhere in her personal life.

“So many of us lose things we think are important, and we have no idea that something better is right there,”

It was a pleasant surprise when Tamron discovered she was pregnant with her husband, Steven Greener who she secretly wed last year.

“My story is not one I could’ve ever expected,” Tamron later tells People. “I’m from the South, and there’s a saying: ‘It’s not a setback; it’s a setup for something else.” She continues, “That loss set me up for, yes, a dream job but also my baby, my husband, my family. I just couldn’t see it coming.”

NEW SHOW

Apart from motherhood, Tamron is also looking forward to hosting her new daytime show in the fall. Disney announced in March that the syndicated show will debut in September.

Things are coming up roses for Tamron who not too long ago felt like she was “in a fog.” But she later realized with all the good things coming her way that there’s a reason for everything.

“So many of us lose things we think are important, and we have no idea that something better is right there,” she concludes.
