Amy Roloff Gives Update on Mother’s Health after Paying Her a Visit at the Hospital
"Little People Big World" matriarch, Amy Roloff’s fans are worried as she recently opens up on Instagram about her mother's ailing health.
On Friday, "Little People Big World" matriarch, Amy Roloff, confirmed she would be traveling from Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Michigan to be with her parents. However, the occasion that prompted the visit is not a joyful one.
Amy took to Instagram to express her pain at having to come home on such a sad occasion, and her fans and supporters have expressed their concern and offered their support.
She posted an old picture of her parents, adding,
"My mom isn’t doing so well, and I need to see them. Every moment is precious the older I get and the older they get.... Like the old days, I’m going to make dinner for them. This Michigan girl is coming home."
And like she wrote, Amy followed through on her word and did get around to making her father dinner after their return from the hospital. Amy wrote:
"After visiting w/ my Mom in the hospital I made dinner for my Dad! He enjoyed it, and I loved making it for him. My Mom is doing ok. The coming home and the care she may need is the tough part. Just glad I could be here!"
On Sunday, she shared a picture that featured her with her father, taken after they visited her mother in the hospital, and though Roloff hasn't given a name to her mother’s ailment, she put her fans' minds at ease by stating that her mother was “doing ok.”
Her fans and loyal supporters also followed her posts and updates on the gram and offered her support and encouragement, “My heartfelt thoughts are with you,” a fan commented.
Amy Roloff surprised us all with her big decision regarding Roloff Farms which is the Oregon property where she once lived her ex-husband, Matt Roloff, and raised her four children and also continue to annually grow and sell pumpkins.
Amy was said to have been struggling with life decisions following her divorce from Matt Roloff earlier in 2016 concerning the farms as her ex-husband had prepared to buyout or sell out the farm and move on with his life.
Matt Roloff eventually took to Instagram to explain the details of the buyout:
"She will remain in her house (and on the farm) and 1/2 owner of our original farm until she decides to leave... At that time we will jointly work to sell the side she lives on together."
We’re sending positive thoughts toward Amy and her family, too!
