Porsha Williams on Her Silence Amid Dennis McKinley Cheating, Split Rumors

Porsha Williams was an open book in the recent American Black Film Festival, as she opened up about the cheating and separation rumors that have been engulfing her relationship with Dennis McKinley.

Porsha Williams was one of the many reality TV stars who attended the American Black Film Festival in Miami last week, to share the pros and cons that come with cameras following their every move. While most of their lives are interesting, one that has been drawing a lot of attention is that of Porsha William's.

After giving birth to her daughter Pilar Jhena, Porsha's love life has been the topic of many articles after it was reported that her fiance cheated on her.

The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star has been facing a lot of pressure trying to juggle being a mother to baby PJ and trying to manage all the rumors of McKinley having an affair and their apparent split.

Protecting her family

According to Porsha, he is not trying to hide or run away from the rumors, but she is simply trying to protect her child and the family that they have.

“I’m pretty much doing everything in my own time. Not that there’s anything I’m trying to hide or run away from, but if you love someone and you make a mistake or he makes a mistake or whatever’s going on, you gotta make sure that y’all are good at the end of the day.”

She also acknowledged that she is a reality TV show, and that demands so much of her life. However, in hopes of trying to keep her family for a lifetime, there are just some things she chooses to keep to herself.

“I am on a reality television show and I do pride myself on being transparent on the show, but at the same time I’m human and when you’re talking about family, something that you want for a lifetime, you have to protect it.”

A love that lasts a lifetime

With such a vague answer, Williams continued by saying that her main priority is protecting her family, regardless of what that means. She also shares that Dennis will always be her daughter's father and that her love for him will remain for life.

“What I will always do is make sure I protect family. He will always be my daughter’s father and I will absolutely love him forever. We absolutely go through our ups and downs together. And I still thank God for the blessing I claimed a year ago.”

As for whether or not they are staying together, Porsha remained mum and acknowledged that as human beings, we are not perfect and are a constant work in progress. They are currently working on their shortcomings and challenges as one family, guided by their faith.

“There are still be things in any of us that aren’t perfect, that we have to deal with as a family. But overall I am still thankful to God and I know he is holding both of our hands as long as we stay in prayer.”

Amid the rumors of their separation, Porsha has constantly been sharing new photos and videos of her little girl. The heartwarming comments from her fans have made it a lot easier for Porsha to be a motivated mother, especially since her fans are appreciative of her choice not to show PJ's face in a lot of the photos for her own protection.
