On Friday, Miranda Lambert took to Twitter with a post featuring two images of herself. The caption of the photos revealed that the singer had adopted two rabbits.

Lambert went through to the Nashville's Metro Animal Care and Control (MACC) where she adopted the cute little bunnies. One of them appeared to be gray or brown while the other one was white and black.

In the images, she could be seen cuddling her new family members. She also made a plea to her fans to visit the animal shelter to adopt rabbits as there were more than two.

The musician captioned her post:

"Somebunny has two new best furever friends! Frida & Selena! Thank you @nashanimalcare for rescuing all these bunnies. Glad I could take 2 off of your hands! There are so many more y’all. Go visit MACC! #furmom #21andcounting #oops #dontforgetloveashelterpet #muttsofallkinds."

The singer is well-known to be a lover of dogs and has an organization called the MuttNation Foundation. She explained what the organization did in a previous interview.

Lambert said:

"I'm as hands-on as I can possibly be. I want to be more hands on. I help do the renovations. I kind of was in charge of a shelter for a while in Oklahoma. It was really hard work, but worth it. And with [Hurricane] Harvey, that's my home state, I was in Houston for a week, and it was one of the hardest things I've ever done, but it was so rewarding."

She also shared that the foundation intended to do much more. Some of their accomplishments were being “able to help with natural disasters, and help shelters renovate.”

She confessed:

“We kind of have our hand in everything, and that's why I wanted to start it, because we wanted to control where the money that we raised would go."

The star encouraged people to adopt dogs but advised them to first plan it out and be sure they could do it. She asked fans to consider the pet’s size and needs before adopting.
